Console and client spaces
How a partner works in SpectrAI: the console, how to enter a client space and return to the console, the admin, analyst and viewer roles, and what each one sees.
Two places to work#
A partner works either in its console or in a client space, never in both at once.
| Place | What happens there |
|---|---|
| Console | Overview (next actions, activity), Clients (portfolio, assignments, orders, history), Missions (assigned rights), and at the bottom Agency settings (team, white label). |
| Client space | The same product as for a direct customer: targets, pentests, findings, reports, sites and agents, the client's team, audit log. |
Enter the space opens a client's space; a banner shows the current client. Back to the console leaves it. Switching client is done from the space selector or the portfolio.
Agency roles#
| Role | Scope |
|---|---|
| Admin | Manages clients, the team, white label and missions. Accesses every client. The agency always keeps at least one administrator. |
| Analyst | Works in the clients assigned to them: targets, pentests, reports. |
| Viewer | Reads the clients assigned to them, without launching or changing anything. |
You cannot change your own role: ask another administrator. The database enforces rights, and the interface applies the same rules: the context chosen in the browser grants nothing.
Second factor#
Adding a site, an agent or a testing authorisation in a client space requires a session verified by a second factor. The second factor is offered once to administrators; it is never imposed. See Sign-in and second factor.
What the end customer sees#
A partner's end customer sees its space under the partner's brand. It sees neither wholesale prices, nor supplier invoices, nor the partner's other clients. It cannot order on the partner's behalf.
See Client spaces, White label and Partner orders.
